This evening I also photographed the band load-in and sound check. I also took some photos of the band themselves. A bunch of characters to say the least. A bunch of fun loving friends to say the most. Each with a heart of gold. Those photographs are at the end of the blog.
As I bounced around the venue for photo ops, I felt the energy of those attending. They were all fans of the band, of the music, of the Beverly Arts Center. Each location I photographed from I heard conversations of praise for the band. People videoing on their cell phones. People dancing in their seats. Arms waiving. Total smiles in the hearts from all.
Yes, you do have to give thanks to Crosby Stills Nash and Young for making such a huge impact on our lives, and on history. Marrakesh Express - a CSNY experience, does them an honor staying true to not just the music, but also the vibe the music was intended to give us, with their stage presence, communication with the audience, and being themselves.
Thank you guys, and thank you Beverly Arts Center, for providing the good vibes to us.
